ROB ZOMBIE And GODSMACK Roar Onto Road Tonight

August 25, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: ROB ZOMBIE and GODSMACK kick off their co-headlining tour tonight (Friday, August 25) in Dallas, Texas, with the tour slated to run through October 1 in Concord, California. While Zombie kept his stage show to a minimum on his last two U.S. treks, the singer told Launch that he's pulling out all the stops on this one. "The GODSMACK tour is me getting back to doing completely insane, retarded production. It'll be sick. Huge. Gigantic. I wanna do the biggest thing I've ever done, basically."

The 25-stop tour will be GODSMACK's first Stateside jaunt in support of the band's fourth album, "IV", which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 after its April release.

Zombie has already toured the States twice in support of his latest effort, "Educated Horses". The album's newest single is "Let It All Bleed Out".

Zombie's new version of the classic 1978 horror film "Halloween" has been given a release date of October 19, 2007. Zombie will write and direct the film, with production possibly slated to begin later this year.

The rocker and filmmaker's upcoming adult animated film, "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto", will also be in theaters in 2007.
